Roasted Cabbage What you will need: One head of cabbage One stick of butter Garlic powder Onion Powder Black pepper Vinegar or Lemon juice *Aluminum Foil* Slice your cabbage in half-inch-thick rounds after removing the outer layer of leaves. Place in a single layer in a baking dish. In a small bowl mash up your stick of butter and mix in a small dash of garlic and onion powder, and pepper. Add about a teaspoon or two of vinegar. Mix very well then spoon over the cabbage. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Remove and carefully take off the foil and place back in the oven. Bake uncovered an additional 15-20 minutes or until it starts browning around the edges. Roasted Buttered Radishes You will need: Radishes Stick of butter dried basil dried parsley flakes Sea Salt Black pepper bacon bits In a baking dish put your radishes. In a bowl melt your butter and place your seasonings to your liking and whisk together then pour over the radishes, making sure they are all coated. Sprinkle with bacon bits. Bake in the oven at 400 for about 30-35 minutes or until a fork inserted goes in easily. **Special Notes** 1. I use this same recipe and method for making Brussel sprouts, potatoes, carrots, and turnips. |
