Reading The Seven Valleys: Day 1, with Poem 1

Last night I began reading The Seven Valleys, page 9 to 53 The Call of the Divine Beloved: Selected Mystical Works of Baha'u'llah. This is the second or third time I've read The Seven Valleys; however, this is a new rendering of the tablet. This translation is based on the original, 1945, translation, with some changes made for "clarity and accuracy."1 I'm not sure how long it will take to read The Seven Valleys because I will reread parts that aren't clear several times before continuing to the next section of the tablet.

Prayer to the Manifestation of God

O Thou incomparable Temple,
         I want to understand
         what little I can
         of Your mystic sweetness.

Notes

"excellent Temple"2 refers to the Manifestation of God.
