Gratitude
makes each morning better than last evening,
and each day better than yesterday.

In this time of adversity
and uncertainty--
when we don't know
if the senior citizen
who just delivered our lunch order
has COVID-19--
we give thanks for our food,
place everything in the hands of God,
and get on with our day.

Gratitude and thanksgiving
helps us deal with the uncertainties
of everyday life.
