SPRING: 2 Jalal 177 (9 April 2020)
O my Lord! Make Thy beauty to be my food, and Thy presence my drink,
and Thy pleasure my hope, and praise of Thee my action...
- Bahá’u’lláh

*Laugh* O PINIONS!

I wish I would've thought of putting Trudeau's malaprop to music. I really think it gets the message across in a way that just another boring answer to a Q&A wouldn't have. Sometimes the wrong word makes a speech/poem/essay stand out. Like Elizabeth Bishop's poem "Man Moth", so much more memorable than it's intended word and title "mammoth".

*Cow* WATT'S GNUS

PM Trudeau misspoke, it was put to music. It's going viral:

*Worry* MY THOUGHTS

At least I wear a mask. Physically I'm fine, but trying not to think ... I could easily get overwhelmed right now.

*Mountains* WEATHER

*Sun* 5°. 10 a.m. in Missoula
*Cloud* 15°. 10 p.m. in Porto
*Sun* 9°. 6 p.m. Oslo
*Cloud* 26°. 10 a.m. Cartago, Costa Rica.

Mornings are typically cold in Montana. It may get up to 20 today around 5 p.m. Porto highs/lows will only vary by a couple degrees some days. The heat of the day in Costa Rica is usually 10-12 noon. April can be bone dry or steamy. Delta flights resume April 30th.

"I live in a place with paper walls,
where ghosts sip oolong tea... most quietly...
while noisy people pace the halls."

*Reading* READING

"Guardian of the Veil" by Gregory Spencer, page 128.

*AsteriskBr* QUOTE

"In time he feared nothing would be left if the shard were taken away. It had worked its way to the center of his being. So he looked after it. ... He learned it was his most loyal friend." page 127.

*CoffeeO* MY LIFE

My sister called. No good news. I'll post when I figure out what to say.

Life drones on. Lovely day. I ate hamburger casserole, perhaps over-ate. Feeling like a nap. Little motivation. Post another picture of Taiwan on spacebook? Why not ...

*Coffee* SENIOR CENTER and *CoffeeR* COFFEEHOUSE

Picked up two meals. Merry tired to run me over *Laugh* and gave me a bag of goodies to take home. She treats me like she's my older sister. Big-hearted, a bit bossy at times.

*Meh* BLOGVILLE

I mentioned to ~Brian K Compton~ Author Icon re getting any feedback or support:

1. Not all writers are warm fuzzy people. Many live in caves by choice and rarely venture out. Even the social ones (social partiers by day or night, 9-5 M-F) can be cave dwellers at all other times, not even wanting friends or family to know they write.

2. Montanans are not warm fuzzy people. Writers are not warm fuzzy people. Montana writers are? I feel very isolated from the writing community here. It's all cliques. And what's worse ... I'm not a Montanan.

3. I do a lot of commenting on spacebook and here. I comment more than get back. But then ... people review me and I hardly ever review. So, I can't complain too much.

4. I live in Blogville, a ghost town from WDC '08. I rarely get visitors here from that time. More often on spacebook. People moved on. I'm left behind.

5. Non-writer friends. I write poetry and flash fiction. Give me 5 uninterrupted minutes of your time? Not happening here. People just walk up and interrupt any presentation. And those listening CANNOT focus for 5 minutes.

When you come up with solutions, send me a note. I've tried ...
