day 29- tellin' it like it is
Do you write like you talk? Blogging is inherently personal and therefore leaves a lot of room for your unique voice. How do you show your reader your personality through your writing?

Yes. Undoubtedly.

I was actually just thinking about how I wish I could italicize in my texts because I talk like that all the time. Sometimes all caps will do it, but most of the time I want emphasis without shouting. I get creative with punctuation because sometimes it just makes sense. Of course, this often results in someone correcting me, but whatever.

I also find myself imagining what my conversations (both with other people and with myself) might look like written- often while I'm still talking. That's probably not a very good way to stay present in a conversation, but I still get the message... most of the time.
