The flame burns,
the wax melts--
tears of love descending drop by drop
onto the the ground of faith--
watering the soul of the lover,
as the flame,
like prayers,
ascends into the spiritual world.


The candle's sacrifice:
giving its light
to illuminate the world.

Be candles
in this dark age
illuminating the world
with the joy of your faith.
