10 Ingredients For A Successful Blog Post
Prompt: What are 10 ingredients For A Successful Blog Post?

I had to look this up but this is what I came up with.

1. A catchy headline.

Like newspapers and books, you need a catchy headline. SEA MONSTER IN LAKE MICHIGAN? Rumor has it, there is a sea monster in Lake Michigan and I live by Lake Michigan and would love to see it. This would be an attention getter. A headline like this. Someone would want to read what you have to say.

2. Great Opening Paragraph

Draw the reader in. I would write that there is a sea monster in Lake Michigan and write what I heard and read about it. Maybe I would be lucky enough to see it and that would be a great paragraph. Hey! I found Nessie in Lake Michigan!

3. Make A Point

My point? There is a sea monster in Lake Michigan and that is why I am writing this.

4. Structure It Properly

I would have to make sure my entry has a good layout and structure. It needs to have a comfortable rhythm. If you can, get an image or picture. If not, just write and describe what you are talking about.

5. Make It Unique

Put your own twist on the story but spin a unique angle and conclusion of your own. Make it as interesting as possible.

6. Freshen Up Things With Visual Content

Again, this is where pictures come in. Call it eye candy. Readers want to see what you are talking about. A sea monster picture? Look on line. You are bound to find one.

7. Share Your Experience

Have you seen anything in a lake that resembles a sea monster? Share what you saw or what you think you saw. Readers want to know what you have to say.

8. Add Relevant Resources

Provide links to scientific facts from research to support your argument on the subject you are writing about.

9. Provide Internal Links

I already covered this above. I don't know why this part was included again when I looked up this Blog Project.

10. Just Relax!

Some may think it's a joke but make it creative, fun and include the facts and enjoy what you are Blogging about.

Okay. There you have it. Go write that interesting, mysterious Blog Entry!
