Pick from your choice of the most simple/basic songs ever written and give it a little more 'spice': “Happy Birthday”, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, etc. (be mindful of your rating!)

I chose "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

Twinkle, twinkle little star.
How I wonder what you are.
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle little star,
How I wonder what you are.

There are, of course, more verses.

Lewis parodied the song as follows, of course:

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!
Up above the world you fly,
Like a teatray in the sky.

But the prompt specified spice. And so, here's my parody:

Decorating the Kitchen

Sprinkle sugar, pepper, salt,
Pause to do a somersault.
Ginger, saffron, rosemary,
Basil, tarragon, green tea.
Counters, table, chairs, and floor—
Sit and grin. Mom's at the door.

This is based (in part) on an experience from my childhood. My sister, Madeline, was eighteen months at the time, and apparently decided that the kitchen would look better if she spread all of the white powders on the counters and floor like snow.
