Not Too Bad for a Yesterday and a Today
Not Too Bad for a Yesterday and a Today

It’s that time of my first day off that I either need to write this blog entry or miss a blogging day. Usually, I regret this time of day. Well, maybe regret isn’t the right word. Because I don’t really regret it. It’s just that I normally don’t have anything to write about. Especially, when it comes to yesterday at work. Most of the time today isn’t much better. If it’s any better at all.

Today is different, though. Yesterday and today have been very good when it comes to my Water Wars and The Problems with Death scriptwriting projects. I have gotten a lot accomplished on them both. Maybe not as much as I wanted to get written. But still what I needed or wanted to get done. And it’s not over with today for my second project. I don’t know if I will be able to get any more written on it before I go to sleep tonight. But I’m going to try to do at least one more Act if I can do it.

True, I may have only written eighteen paragraphs yesterday at work. But they were the four and five-line ones. Besides, they were a lot like the Saturday paragraphs that I got written. The only difference was the total number of lines per scene. What am I writing about? I didn’t do as much erasing and re-writing with these two Acts. But I did have to do quite a bit. As a result, I may have only physically written eight, but it was more like writing about twenty-five of them.

Normally, when I don’t get as much writing as I do at work is because of work. But that isn’t true this time either. It was a very typical Sunday yesterday. In fact, it may have been a little bit slower than it usually is. Yesterday felt more like a Saturday than a Sunday. So, why didn’t I get more writing done? I think that eighteen is a very good number of paragraphs to me. Don’t ask me why I wrote that many because I don’t know. Once I started writing them, I couldn’t stop doing it. The only time that I did stop was because of work. And that didn’t happen too often.

Today has been very good for me too. it’s true, that I only got one-fourth of my movie Treatment single sentences written. But that’s a lot to me. Especially, considering me and my brother have been very busy today doing things that needed to be done. I only had a few hours to do them. And tomorrow is probably going to be a lot worse. I’ve got to get up very early tomorrow morning.

My brother and I have a lot to do tomorrow. As a result, I don’t know how much more of The Problem with Death I will be able to get done. I’m hoping to be getting the second fourth written. But I might not be able to do that. Especially, if I don’t get to do any more writing on it before I go to sleep tonight. Which I probably won’t be able to do because of getting up so early tomorrow morning.
