Another Yesterday of No Writing

The first four hours of work yesterday was extremely busy. Especially, the first hour and a half and the last half hour. It was almost none stop busy during that time period. The other two hours it was almost the opposite. True, it was very, very busy. But not as terrible as the other two hours. I was still on my feet a lot. It was almost continuously during the extreme hours. That’s how busy it was yesterday at work when it comes to the first four hours.

Because of those first four hours, I didn’t feel too much like doing any writing during the last four hours. In fact, it took me almost that long to calm down because of it. I know that I should have tried to get some writing done on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Even a little bit of it would have been better than nothing at all. But I just didn’t feel like doing it.

Usually, I can blame work when I don’t get too much, if any, writing done. And in a lot of ways work is to blame for it because of the first four hours. But I can’t really do that this time. At least I can’t do it completely. It was very slow for the last four hours. In fact, it was so slow that the last four hours felt more like it was a Saturday day at work.

The weather was also a reason why I didn’t get any writing done yesterday. It was raining all during my shift. True, it was a light rain most of the time. Sometimes it was just sprinkling or mist. But it was still rain. And it would have affected me when it comes to my writing. At least it would have if I had tried to do any writing. But I decided not to do that.

Today I’m back at my regular post. So, I should be able to work on my first scriptwriting project. I’m just not sure how much of it I will get written. A lot of that depends on just how bad it gets at work today. If it’s a lot like it was the last four hours yesterday, then I may get a lot of paragraphs written for my Outlines. But if it’s like the first four hours, then I will be lucky if I can get the movie Outline done.

Unfortunately, work isn’t the only reason why I may not get too much writing done today. The weather is also one. It’s supposed to be another day of rain. True, it isn’t supposed to be that bad. But the last couple of days they were wrong about how bad it was going to be. I hope that they are wrong about it again today.
