I didn’t get any writing done yesterday. And this time it is all because of work. For almost the first three hours it was the sun trying to blind me. The next five hours it was because of work too. But the first three hours were mild compared to the last five.

It all started when the normal person who relieves me at the end of my shift came in. She was called in early to help me because it was getting busy there. and that was true. It was very, very busy during that time. But that wasn’t why she was called in early. No, it was because of me. I got mad because I couldn’t watch any tv or movies. So, I slowed myself down when it came to working. And they didn’t like that.

An hour later it got worse. I was led to believe that my reliever was there to take over to me. Making me believe that I had been fired. In fact, I think that is what they wanted to believe. If I did and headed home, then they could have fired me for leaving my post. But it backfired on them because instead of heading home, I went to the main gate to find out if I was. Only to learn that my reliever was supposed to go there instead of my gate.

I should have gone back to my gate when asked if I wanted to go back there. but I was stupid. And I said that I would stay there. Not only couldn’t I eat or drink during the last four hours of my shift, but I didn’t have any internet service. That doesn’t make any sense to me since only about twenty-five feet away from me my supervisor did have it.

That’s not it, though. I also worked fifteen minutes more because of my relief there was late. I’m not allowed to be this late or later for work. But everyone else can be. It’s another rule that only applies to me. As a result of all that has happened to me yesterday, that is why I didn’t get any writing done on my Water Wars scriptwriting project.
