My One Sentence Sentences are Done for My Outlines With only about a half-hour left on my shift yesterday at work, I finished the one-sentence sentences for my Water War Outlines. It took a lot longer than I thought that it would take. Usually, that’s because of work. But I can’t use that as the reason why this time. That’s because yesterday was more like a Saturday when it comes to working. There was very little going on at work yesterday because it was Thanksgiving. So, it didn’t slow me down when it came to my writing. There was nothing that slowed me down at work. It just took me almost my whole shift to get the two-and-a-half outlines done. Why did it take me so long to do them? After all, they are only one sentence long for each one of them. It’s because there are seven sentences per Act. And there are twelve Acts in the movie. That’s eight regular Acts, two Teasers, and Two tags. It’s half of that when it comes to the first two episodes for this project. That equals one hundred and sixty-eight one sentences for the movie Outline. And eighty-four each for the episodes one and two Outlines. It doesn’t really matter how long it took me to do them, though. What does matter is that I got them done. That means that I can start working on the one-sentence sentences for my three Treatments today at work. Which will probably take several days to do. After all, there are seven hundred and twenty sentences for them. That’s three hundred and sixty for the movie. And one hundred and eighty for each one of the episode Treatments. I’m hoping that once I start doing the Treatment one sentence sentences that it will flow out of my fingers and onto the paper via my pencils. And that might be true for some of it. But I don’t think it’s going to be that easy for most of it. I’m also hoping that work will be treated like it was yesterday with it not being too busy. If it is treated like Saturday or Sunday, then I might get it done by the end of the weekend. But I don’t think that will happen either. I’ll know more about that when I write my next blog entry tomorrow.
