First Ten Scene Paragraphs for Act Four
First Ten Scene Paragraphs for Act Four

I started working on Act Four of the movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. In fact, I got the first ten scene paragraphs done on it. Unfortunately, five of those ten are Establishing Shot. Which are still scene paragraphs. But they are only three lines long. That means I did five ESs, two that were four lines long, two that were five lines long, and one that was six lines long.

That may not read like I did a lot of writing yesterday at work. But I think that I did. Any writing you can do is still writing. Whether it’s one word or several hundred to several thousand of them. I agree with the above statement. Yes, I would have liked to get more writing done. But I didn’t. It’s mostly because of work, though.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get as much writing done as I would like to have gotten written? That’s right, it’s work. Yesterday was no exception. True, work wasn’t as busy as the last two days before that aka Wednesday and Thursday. That’s a little bit weird too. Most of the time Friday’s are busier than Thursday. But not this week. It wasn’t super busy at work yesterday. But it was very, very busy, though.

Today is Saturday. So, it should be too busy at work. At least it normally isn’t. But after Wednesday and Thursday, I’m not so sure about that. After all, it is that time of year when it starts getting busier at work. If it is a typical Saturday, then I should be able to get fifteen to twenty scene paragraphs written. Only time will tell on that one. I will know a lot more about that when I write my next blog entry.
