By George, I Think She's Got It

Well, I may not be where I needed to be for NaNoWriMo, but I have officially moved into Act 2. I was having a lot of trouble concentrating on the details of the story because I wasn't sure where I wanted it to go, so I spent the afternoon mapping the remainder of Book One out on paper.





Guys, I think I've got it.





This morning, I have no idea how I was going to get the beginning to connect to the ending, how I was going to incorporate the characters we needed to see, but I'm pretty sure I've cracked it. And boy does it flow. I've rewritten this story so many times, cut and added so many scenes, that the biggest issue was it felt too choppy to feel right. Now, for the first time, it feels organic.





I cannot tell you how excited that makes me.





Now I just have to write it.
