And I do love green (verde). But when I was 10 I decided my favorite color was orange.

I won't go into the reasons. I've shared that many times.

Now? I have a neon orange backpack so I don't get run over. Life is cheap in many countries in the world, cheap too in Montana.

I have a dull-orange shirt I really like. I look better in duller colors, imho.

I have a bright orange T-shirt, and a worker's shirt from Costa Rica.

I do occasionally eat oranges. And orange-fleshed limon mandarinos are my favorite lemon/lime. And orange squash... the oranger the better.

Years ago I painted my kitchen a dull pumpkin orange. I really liked the color.

As a kid we had to choose a knight of the round table. I chose Percival and make a drawing in sea green and melon.

But now... were I to make a crest? It would be an orange sun setting/rising in a sea of green waves (or waving green wheat).
