This Blog isn't just for my scriptwriting Projects. It's also for my other activities. |
Considering It was Thursday I did a very good job yesterday when it comes to the movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. At least I think that I did. True, I only got twelve scene paragraphs written. And two of them were Establishing Shots. But that’s a lot to me. Especially, considering it was during the week. Probably could have gotten one or two more written. Three more scene paragraphs at the most. After all, I did have just over an hour left until the end of my shift. But I like to end my writing on either a five or a ten. Sometimes that doesn’t work out. And sometimes it does. This was one of those times that it did. Why couldn’t I get more written? There are two answers to that question. One is that it was a weekday. And weekdays at work can be very busy. Yesterday was one of those days. The other reason is also work-related. During the first four hours, it was kind of slow at work. But the second half was two to three times as worse. Especially in the last hour of my shift. So, maybe I couldn’t get one, two, or three more scene paragraphs written after all. I probably could have gotten one. Maybe even two more written. But I don’t think that I would have written three or more. Besides, as I wrote above, I like to end my written sessions on a five or ten whenever possible. Today is also part of the workweek. So, I probably won’t get too many scene paragraphs written today either. I should be able to get ten to fifteen done, though. at least I hope that I can. A lot of that depends on how busy it gets at work today. If it’s like the last couple of Fridays, work shouldn’t be a big problem. But if it’s like yesterday, then it might be very busy. In fact, it might be so busy that I won’t be able to do too much writing. Whether I do ten or a hundred I’m going to do as many as I can.
