This is my book of poetry that I hope to eventually publish with photos. |
Descend from dark evening Through lonely smiles we thirst Thousand ascend to new joys Earth rend over man By expectations this world betrays When we choose beauty over sunlight Questioning hearts gorge on blatant silence Nothing avails in which half lonely men stand Somewhere understanding of beauty brazenly strikes twice the heart never quite arriving at love You murder evening light and beat moonlight Flowers creeping reached the dark borders Keep us homeward Give all the dead words Meanwhile vagrants Feed me love Prayers take heaven Monsters rest with winter heart Stricken where last winter turns to dust Should mockery be honorable? Hereafter what silent lips secret Who can give a promise back? Self prayers to lovers Handle hopes in unspoken dreams There with words loosed the loathsome dare To sneer this tender lie Dead crying Ashes and dreams etched forgotten in myself Dragons between each of our young hands So impalpable A door now bound coming open again Tremble You say now love will come But hate now comes What road for us? Breath of death is sweetness Night conquered the beast You cry with desire No more pretensions What a strange terror! Desert bones cold sea blind dew Evening now comes Love the saviours as well Every face watched evening changing Let men then turn to watch Thought is mottled Bloody again Choking on his kill Seething now as he was left falling Winter sings barren promise Should radiant joys stream once more?
