The Fortress1 crumbled:
Its walls have fallen,
Its stones are scattered,
Iron gates rusted,
Its heart is open,
To the light of day.

This is poem 191 of the 200 I am writing to celebrate the Bicentenary of the Birth of The Bab. The Tableau  


Number of Lines:
Minimum 6


Rules:
1 or more stanzas, each containing 6 lines.
Since the dictionary states the word tableau means picture or representation, the poem should reflect this.
A picture should come to mind as the poem is read.

Meter:
Each line should have five beats.

Rhyme Scheme:
No rhyming scheme.
