It’s About Time Something Very Good Happened to Me

Not only did I get my WDC Short Story written for this month, but I also got great news about me going back to work. I got my Short Story finished last night before I went to sleep. That including the editing to get it under two thousand words. And that wasn’t that hard to do when I went back to change it into single Present Tense POV. In fact, there were one or two sections that I had already done it too. even back then I knew what I was going to do. I just didn’t realize it as I continued writing it.

I could have done my Grammarly check, create it, and enter the contest for this month before I went to sleep last night too. But it was getting late. So, I decided to do it today. Which I did. And it didn’t take me long to do all three either. But because of me and my brother still moving into our own place I didn’t get it done until the early middle of the afternoon. I did the Grammarly check and then creating it in between trips to pick up things. But I didn’t enter the WDC contest until I got home from the second trip.

True, I could have tried to write the other two short stories that I planned on writing for this month. And I really wanted to do them. But I didn’t think that I could get them both written in only a few days. I’m not even sure that I could have gotten one of them done. Let alone them both. Besides, I didn’t know which one I wanted to do first if I could only get one of them done.

Instead, I decided to start work on my next movie and television project. No, I haven’t given up on Water Wars. I still plan on finishing it first. But instead of doing Treasure Finders next, I have decided to do Calkin Cove instead. I’m still going to do Treasure Finders too. But after watching a movie like Pearl Harbor it got me thinking about this one. So, I decided to do this one next.

Calkin Cove is a Science Fiction Drama with a little bit of Action/Adventure. The movie will be mostly Action/Adventure. But the television series that follows it will focus more on Drama than Action/Adventure. That’s all that I’m going to write about it right now. After all, I don’t want to give away all my secrets too soon.

Speaking of Water Wars, now that I’m going to back to work at my old post and schedule I’m going to continue working on this project. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how much writing I’m going to get done on it this Wednesday when I do return to work. In fact, I might not even try to do any of it. After all, not only is it Wednesday, but the weather is supposed to be very bad too. I probably will try to do as much writing as I can do then. But I doubt that I will get too much of it done. If I get any written at all.
