Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "Write about an adult event or gathering from the point of view of a child.}\\

When I was a child I remember going to church with my mom. In fact, some of my earliest memories are about going to church. We went to a church called "Clay Point United Methodist", which was an old country church with a circuit preacher. I remember the preacher scared the fire out of me. I often went home and had nightmares after listening to him preach. I also remember the Sunday school teacher gave us all a stick of gum. Aside from that I don;t remember much.

Blog City image small Prompt: "Everyone’s addicted to something in some shape or form. What are things you can’t go without?"

If you believe the disease theory for addiction then you do not honestly believe that everybody is addicted to something or being addicted would be considered a normal, healthy state of being. I am a recovered drug addict. Do I believe most people are addicted to something? Yes I do. However those who are addicted have an abnormal relationship with that person, place, or thing. Jesus Christ breaks addictions. If you are addicted give God a try!
