Woe to them who are at ease in Zion... - October 19

         "Woe to them that are at ease in Zion." God spoke that to me in a "fire meeting," at church. It struck me. Since that moment, as I go about my business these words echo.

         We are not here to do our own thing, get fat and comfortable, wear nice clothes, own great cars, live in beautiful homes with lovely gardens, have a great ministry. We are not here to be successful on earth. This earth is not our home --- not our focus.

         "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all of these things will be added unto you." Don't let "things" or accolades be your modus operandi---keep seeking Him first, no matter what this life affords .

         God says, "Lay up your treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not corrode..."

         "Ask not what I can do for you --- ask what you can do for your fellows." (Whatsoever we do to the least of our brothers, that we do unto Him.)

         Awaken us, Oh Lord. Shake us up. Direct our footsteps. Let us follow you whole-heartedly and be busy about Your business.
