The Green Turban:
To The Bab

Siyyid Ali-Muhammad,
descended--
through both parents--
of the Prophet Muhammad;
the Green Turban
proof of His linage.

The Bab
sends His green turban
to Mulla Husayn,
who wearing the turban
and carrying a Black standard,
rode across Mázindarán
proclaiming the Cause of the Bab.
