Surprises

Prompt: Surprises. Write about some good and some bad surprises you have had.

I had a surprise 18TH Birthday party in High School. Some blonde guy jumped up from behind the Christmas Tree and yelled surprise. My Birthday is right before Christmas. My boyfriend got me got a gold sculpture rose necklace and earrings to match and my female friends got me a scarf and necklaces. There were eight people at my party. It was a nice party.

Christmas time and gifts are always a nice surprise. Friends being there for you in time of a crisis is always a good surprise. Getting a raise, my husband bought me a dozen red roses, a Thomas Kincaid Tea pot, dinner at a fancy restaurant and a trip to Frankenmuth, Michigan to the Christmas Store, well this was our 25TH Wedding Anniversary. That was a good surprise.

Bad surprises. Boyfriends disappointing me in the past, bosses at work being jerks and people and friends who hurt me. These are never good surprises. I always cherish my good surprises.
