This Blog isn't just for my scriptwriting Projects. It's also for my other activities. |
The Teaser Act, Act One, and Act Two I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is that I got ninety single sentences written for the second episode for my Water Wars scriptwriting. That equals twenty for my Teaser Act. And thirty-five each for Act One and Act Two. The bad news is my WDC Short Story for this month. Despite the weather at work yesterday I got a lot of writing done. True, it was a Saturday. And it was a very typical Saturday too. It wasn’t very busy. But it was a little bit busier than usual, though. That didn’t slow me down too much either. Once I started writing it, I couldn’t stop until I finished it. That was my good news. Not it time to write about my bad news. I really want to write my Short Story for this month’s WDC Short Story contest. But I have decided I’m not got going to do it. With everything that has happened to me this month with the move to a new place, problems with my Water Wars scriptwriting Project, and The Masquerade Murder Mystery Challenge I just don’t have the time to write this story. When I got home from work last night just before midnight WDC time, I had every intention of writing the last two parts of it. Then all I needed to do was some editing. But there were two problems with that. One is that I couldn’t decide how to write the fourth part. I know what I wanted to write. Just didn’t know how to do it. The second problem is when I went back to check on editing the first and third parts because of their lengths. And I discovered that the first one was Past Tense. But two and three are Present Tense. Which means I had to do one of two things. I either had to rewrite part one or I had to rewrite parts two and three. When I went back to do some editing on parts I realized the differences in Tenses. Today at work I’m going to finish my Water Wars single sentences for my Outline and Treatments. I don’t know if I will get the second episode for this project. But I should be able to do it since it’s Sunday. And Sundays aren’t usually very busy. besides, it’s only another ninety to do. If I can do them yesterday at work, there is no reason why I can’t do it today too. Well, I can think of several reasons why I won’t get it done. So, it is possible that I won’t get it done. But I think that I can, and will, do it.
