Not Too Much Written Yesterday at Work

That’s right, I didn’t get too much written on my Water Wars scriptwriting project at work yesterday. Only this time it’s not because of the lack of concentration or because of work. True, it was kind of busy at work yesterday. But it was about an average Thursday. It was very busy. Especially the first and the last two hours. But it wasn’t that busy.

No, the reason why I only got forty single sentences for my movie Treatment done is because of me. But it wasn’t because of concentration. Got out my paper and pencils. And I was prepared to do it. But I just didn’t feel like doing it. At least more than I did manage to get done. and I was kind of forcing myself to do that.

Why didn’t I feel like writing more than I did? It’s because I think that I’m coming down with a bad chest cold. I have been weak and tired all day. Even though I got plenty of sleep last night. So, why have I gotten a cold? It’s because of work. In a way, they are to blame for it. But it’s not because of yesterday. It all happened on Wednesday instead of Thursday.

All that going in and out of my post on Wednesday every few seconds caused my cold from developing. Especially, since the AC wasn’t working properly. It was working. But just barely. And the fan in there didn’t help much either. It was still very hot in there. Put that all together and it means I was fighting a cold all day yesterday.

I’m still not feeling too good. But I did have one Short Story to write for The Masquerade Murder Mystery Challenge. Besides, I also have the blog entry to write. It’s either that or I take the chance of missing another day of blogging. And I don’t want to do that. Even if it takes me a little longer to do them. that’s why this blog entry is a bit later than it usually is.

I don’t know how I’m going to feel about writing today. I’m going to try to do a lot better today than I did yesterday. But I don’t know if I’m going to be able to do that or not. It’s not just me, though. It also has to do with how busy it gets at work. If it’s a halfway normal Friday at work, I might not get too much writing done. Even if I don’t feel like doing it again.
