Cinderella, No Slipper?

I wonder if Cinderella hadn't left a glass slipper behind, would the Prince have ever found her? If she left her ball gown behind, would the Prince had his men go door to try the gown on all the women of the village? Maybe her pearls if they would have fallen off? Maybe the Fairy Godmother should have had the Prince and Cinderella both disappear into a mist and end up at another castle somewhere else?

Too bad the stepsisters were there when the Prince's men showed up with the glass slipper. Cinderella wouldn't have been locked up and been able to try on the glass slipper but of course, TV shows have to have drama. I love Cinderella no matter how it is written. I always wanted a Cinderella romance and Wedding and I think I got it. No. I know I got it. A fairy tale ending but life is never perfect. We know that. These are just my thoughts on Cinderella today. Too bad Elsa couldn't have frozen Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters. Whoops! Wrong story. Just thinking out loud!
