Contemplation's
on the Last Sunday in August 2019

On the last Sunday in August 2019
I contemplate the worldwide preparation
being made for the celebration
of the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Bab.

Joyfully Preparations gain momentum worldwide for bicentenary  ,
as I read the article
I intone God's Most Great Name,
and look forward to the planned celebration
in my own city.

In Africa, preparations energize and focus communities  ;
I raise my voice in gratitude
for the Internet,
for the World Wide Web
that gives me access
to the preparations of the
World Wide Baha'i Community.
