Exhausted but not bored

I arrived safely. 8 hours in LAX was tiresome but doable. I had packed a couple peaches and some pork burgers. Didn't have to buy airport priced food. Chatted with a woman from Los Ángeles going to Hawai'i with her daughters. They live near the beach so looking for a cultural experience... same with many of the travelers I meet in the hostels I stay in.

In San José... Bryan met me at the airport and we walked to the place I always stay... apparently closed... so had to find another. Fortunately, this is low season so no problem. Talked to people from Paris and Toulouse, France; Berlin, Germany; Utrecht, Holland; County Mayo in Ireland; Michoacan, México. I really like hostels.

Already ran into someone I know. Saw a snatch-and-run... welcome to Costa Rica!

It wanted to rain yesterday but it waited until this morning. I have nothing planned today. Slept in until 8 (sun wakes everyone up at 6).

I'm entering this on my tablet. What a pain... my posts may be short. I'm already missing my home laptop. So... we shall see.
