This Blog isn't just for my scriptwriting Projects. It's also for my other activities. |
Repetition is Still a Problem with My Teaser and Tag Acts Yesterday I can blame work for me not getting too much done with my writing. It was very busy there. In fact, it wasn’t a normal Thursday. Usually, Thursdays aren’t very busy. They are busy. But not that busy. Yesterday was an exception. It was one of the busiest days I have had for a Thursday. If not the busiest. Every few minutes I was getting up to work. True, work is to blame for a lot of my writing problems yesterday. But they aren’t the only one. They aren’t the main one either. I’m the real reason why I haven’t gotten further along on my Water Wars project. I’m still trying to solve my repetition problem. The four-episode acts aren’t my problem. I don’t have too much trouble with them. It’s my Teaser and Tag Acts. Just can’t connect them to my episode acts without at least one repetition. It is usually several of them. Reviewers write that I have a bad habit when it comes to repetition. And I know that I do. I’m working on that problem too. But it’s different when it comes to scriptwriting. The scripts themselves shouldn’t be. When it comes to Treatments it is. I know that I’m probably going to be the only one who notices these repetitions. But it still bothers me. That’s why I haven’t given up on solving these. Today I’m going to continue working on my repetition problem. Hopefully, I can get it figured out. A lot of that depends on how busy I am at work today. If it’s like yesterday, I may not have too much time to do it. But usually, Fridays aren’t too busy. Of course, that’s normally true for Thursdays. It wasn’t yesterday, though. It’s not just my work either. Whether I have a lot of work to do at work or not, I’m the only one who can figure out my problem. It is up to me to solve it.
