No Fear! (II Timothy 1:7)

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (II Timothy 1:7, KJV)

For God will give no one a fear.
He gives us power, first.
He gives each love as someone dear
and minds for Him to thirst.

If fear is not of God, it must
be from His living foe.
For that one never helps us trust
the One, Who helps us grow.

O, fear not, Soul, who needs the Lord.
The soundness of each mind
is bent on Him, who through His Word
will guide as gentle, kind.
