Too Bad I Can’t Write the Same About Today

Yesterday was a very good day for the movie Treatment for my Water Wars project. It wasn’t as good as it should have been for a Sunday. But it was still good. At least I think that it is. after all, I got twenty scene paragraphs written. And only one of them was an Establishing Shot.

I can’t blame it on work either. It was a kind of typical Sunday. In fact, it was slower than it usually is yesterday. If I hadn’t gotten about seven hours of sleep the night before I probably would have fallen to sleep yesterday. That how slow it was there.

Can’t really blame me for not getting more writing done. It wasn’t just work that I wasn’t distracted from. I also watched a little television on my cell phone and a couple of movies I haven’t seen in a long time. They may have distracted me a little bit. But not that much.

So, why didn’t I write more yesterday? I don’t know the answer to that question because I don’t know it. From the time that I got there to when I left my fingers were busy writing. Once I started writing I couldn’t stop myself. Sure, I did a lot of erasing. But I didn’t do too much of that either.

After I got home from work it got a little bit better. I did manage to do a little bit more on my WDC Short Story for this month. It wasn’t much. But I did work on it. Unfortunately, I’m not quite finished with that part though. It’s a little longer than I would like it to be.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do about that length. Will I go back and try to eliminate just over a hundred words? That’s what I should do. Maybe not a hundred but cut it back some. Another thing I could do is just continue. It may work out that I don’t need to take out that many after all.

It doesn’t happen too often. But it can happen. Usually, it’s just the opposite though. not only do I need to still take out that hundred plus, but a lot more from the rest of it too. sometimes it’s not too bad. And other times it can be very bad. Like a hundred per part bad.

Today has been a typical Monday aka my first day off. I haven’t had any time to write anything until this Blog entry. I’m going to try to work on my WDC Short Story after I finish posting this. But I probably won’t do it. I’m still very tired from last night. That’s because I didn’t get too much sleep again.

I don’t know if we have anything planned that we need to get done tomorrow. But we probably do. We usually do on either Monday or Tuesday. It’s normally one or the other, but lately, it’s been them both. Hopefully, it won’t be too bad that I can’t get some more of my WDC Short Story written.
