Yesterday Wasn’t Too Good

Don’t ask me why because I don’t the answer to that question. But I only got fifteen scene paragraphs written for the movie Treatment for my Water Wars project. And that included four Establishing shots. Why didn’t I get a lot more done? I don’t know. Should have been able to do at least five to ten more. But I didn’t. And I don’t know why.

I don’t think that it was the television shows I was watching on my cell phone. The two General Hospitals and two Days of Our Lives may have distracted me a little. But not that much. Neither did Spin the Wheel, Holey Moley or Bring the Funny. They may have slowed me down a little too. but once again I don’t think that it was that much, though.

Usually, I can blame work for me not getting more writing written. But I can’t do that. It was a Saturday. And it was a typical Saturday. That’s because it wasn’t very busy at work. In fact, it was probably one of the worst days. I would have fallen to sleep if I didn’t have my writing and cell phone downloads. It was that slow.

So, why didn’t I write more? I still haven’t figured that out yet. And it doesn’t look like I’m going to do it any time soon, if ever. But that’s not all of it, though. I haven’t done any writing since I got home from work either. Except for this Blog entry of course. That makes two days that I haven’t worked on my WDC Short Story for this month. And I should be working on it every day. After all, I only have a couple of weeks to finish it for this month.

I’m not angrier or madder than usual. Except for the heat, the last couple of days at work have been okay. And I don’t think that I’m depressed. At least not any more than I usually am. So, I don’t think that is a reason why I only got fifteen scene paragraphs written yesterday. It may be one of those times when I don’t know why. And that I never will. True, it doesn’t happen too often. But it does happen every so often.

Today at work I’m going to try to finish Act Six. But that’s thirty-six more scene paragraphs, including one more Establishing Shot. After yesterday, I may be lucky if I get another fifteen done. Especially, since it looks like I will probably be watching two or three movies on my cell phone today.
