Another Very Good Friday

True, it was as good of a Friday as a couple of weeks ago. But it was still a very good one when it comes to my writing. At least I think that it was. I got twenty scene paragraphs done yesterday. And none of them were Establishing Shots. Probably could have done another ten to finish Act Five. After all, I did have almost two hours of my shift to do that. So, it shouldn’t have been too much of a problem.

Unless work interfered with it. And in a lot of ways, it did do that. There wasn’t too much work in the last couple of hours. In fact, it was kind of slow all shift. Which is kind of unusual for a Friday. The first four hours looked like it was going to be a typical Friday. It was very busy during that time. Not record setting busy, but busy. The next two hours were a little busy. But it was the last two that surprised me.

The reason why I didn’t try to do those last ten scene paragraphs is that I thought that I would only get about five done. And I didn’t want to leave five in the act left to do today. As it turned out I probably could have gotten all ten done after all. Of course, I didn’t know that at the time. If I could have seen into the future, then maybe I would have seen there was time to do all ten. But I don’t want to do that anymore.

Today is Saturday. So, I should be able to get about twenty-five to thirty-five scene paragraphs done. That will include five Establishing Shots too. I don’t know if I can do that many or not. But I think that I can. Did it a week ago on Saturday. So, there’s no reason why I can’t do it again. It all depends on if it’s a normal Saturday. If it is, I should do it.
