No eidetic memory here! It would be nice... my "gift" is hearing what I read; helps with poetry.

Cooking, baking, eating... whatever! Just start, fail, do it again, fail, learn from mistakes... someday succeed! It's a lot like writing.

I don't want to mind read. I'm afraid I'd cringe from what people are thinking of me. At times in the past it would've been helpful though.

Yes, it's 5 blog entries.

I can "cook" if left to my own devices. I had 5 small beets I had to use... so I boiled them and threw them into a beef barley soup. Turned out fine, but then I'm the only one eating it!

Growing up, my father was the sewer and car mechanic. I was the gardener and book-reader. My sister was the athlete and lawn mower. My mother was the "banker" and shoveled snow. No need to excel at everything!

I never did learn how to clean...

Turkey DrumStik lost her mother last week. "So. It's done." . IMHO, she needs to know there are people out there: "Silence and Sleep" .
