Can’t Believe I did Twenty-five Scene Paragraphs Yesterday

It has been a typical first day off from work today. This has been my first chance I have gotten to do any writing aka this Blog entry. It’s not a total loss, though. I did get a lot written yesterday at work. At least I think that it’s a lot. Especially, considering how it started out.

What do I mean by that? I mean that I got twenty-five scene paragraphs done yesterday at work. And none of them were Establishing Shots. But it looked like I was going to be lucky if I got fifteen done. Why do I think that? It’s because it took me about an hour to do the first two. That’s why I think that I got a lot done yesterday.

After I finished those two the rest just flowed out of me and onto the notebook paper from my pencils. Once I got started, I couldn’t stop until I finished it. True, it took me almost the whole eight hours of my shift to do it. But I did do it. I may have been able to get the three Establishing Shots done for Act Four. I decided not to do it, though.

I don’t know why it took me so long to write those first two scene paragraphs because I don’t know. But it wasn’t about work, though. That much I do know. It was a very normal Sunday at work. It was very slow yesterday. In fact, it’s one of the slowest ones that I have had. I know I keep writing that. But that doesn’t mean it’s not true.

What am I going to do after I finish this Blog entry? I’m probably going to go right to sleep. I know that we don’t have a lot to do tomorrow. But what little we do need to do it’s going to be early in the morning before it gets too hot out. I’m not sure what I’m going to do when I get home after doing it. But it may not be the WDC Short Story for this month.

I’m not sure if I’m going to be doing a Short Story this month. I am still a little bummed out because of the last few months of doing them. If I didn’t like writing them, I wouldn’t be doing it. It’s not what the WDC contest is about. That’s not why I may not do it. I can come up with a story. It’s because I have so much more to do this month.

I am also considering not finishing the Musicology Anthology Challenge either. I’m so far behind on writing them I doubt that I will be able to finish all of them in time. The only way I could do it is if I did two of them a day. And I know that isn’t going to happen. If I was like everyone else I probably would have them all done by now. But I chose to do fifty-two.
