The Second Day Off From Work Hasn’t Been Too Much Better
The Second Day Off From Work Hasn’t Been Too Much Better

It has been a very typical second day off from work. My brother and I have been busy most of the day getting things done that needed to be done. But it wasn’t a total loss, though. I did manage to get some writing done before I started writing this Blog entry. There wasn’t a lot of time to do it. But it was enough. What am I talking about? I’m writing about my WDC Short Story for this month.

I wanted to finish it up last night before I went to sleep. That would have left today to do any editing that needed to be done, a Grammarly check, and WDC Formatting it. Then I could have created it and enter this contest. But that didn’t happen. I didn’t get to it until late this afternoon. It was enough time, though. I got it done. True, I haven’t done anything with it to enter this contest. But I should be able to get it done very quickly. It doesn’t take me too long to do what needs to be done to enter this contest.

The WDC Contest isn’t the only thing I wanted to do last night and today. I also wanted to write at least one Short Story for The Musicology Anthology Challenge. Didn’t get that done either. Hopefully, I can still do that after I finish this Blog entry. The way I’m feeling I don’t think that I will be doing that. I want to do it. And I need to do it. But I probably won’t. Why won’t I? It’s because I haven’t gotten a lot of sleep in the last couple of days. I thought that I have gotten enough. But I’m still tired. Even doing this entry is hard for me to do.

No, I haven’t given up on The Musicology Anthology Challenge. But the longer it takes me to do just one story it doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to finish it. Of course, I’m doing three to five times more stories than anyone in this challenge. That was my decision when doing it. Even if I do get this challenge finished, I doubt I will win it. But that’s not why I’m doing it. Sure, I want to win it. To me, it’s a challenge of it more than the winning.

Tomorrow not only am I going to be returning to work, but I’m also going to be continuing working on the movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Hopefully, I will get a lot more of it done than I did last week. I’m hoping to do fifteen to twenty during the week. And twenty to thirty on the weekend. But this week is a little different. I’m not working Thursday during my regular shift. And I don’t know if I will be a switch or not. If I am, I may be able to continue my writing. How much I get written I don’t know because it’s usually very, very busy during the third shift aka what I call the graveyard shift. But I will do as much as I can. If I’m not working, then I won’t be getting any writing done for that day. At least not when I come to my scriptwriting project.
