The joy of friendship is so blessed,
we search for it whene'er it's gone.
Our daily life through ev'ry test
receives great strength when hearts are drawn.

to right us from our common fears.

assures us of a friend, who's true.

is kindest thing the friend can do.

the one, who lasts in darkest day.

restores the sunshine come what may.
