This Blog isn't just for my scriptwriting Projects. It's also for my other activities. |
Half of an Episode Treatment is Better Than Less of One It’s true, I only wrote one hundred scene sentences yesterday at work. That’s the first half of my episode one Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I probably could have written another forty scene sentences aka Act Three. After all, I almost had an hour and a half left of my shift to work on it. But I decided not to do it. It was the last hour and a half, though. And it usually gets kind of busy during that time. So, I wasn’t sure if I could have gotten it all done. True, I don’t need to do the entire act. But I like to do it if I can. Yesterday I may not have been able to do it. It wasn’t very busy at work. But it wasn’t a typical Thursday either. Most of my shift wasn’t too busy. The last couple of hours was, though. Especially, the last hour of it. It wasn’t non-stop. But it was very close to it. I was going to work on my next Musicology Anthology Short Story when I got home from work. But after reading Parasite, I decided I needed a few days to come up with a story for it. True, I could have just followed the song. That’s part of my problem. It doesn’t make any sense to me. What is Parasite about? Yes, it reads like a love story. But I’m not even sure about that. I need a day or two to think about it. Yes, I know time is running out for me to be finishing this challenge with so many KISS songs left to do. But I do have a little bit of time that I can skip a day or two every so often. Today, I’m going to continue working on the first episode Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I should get the second half of it done. But then again, I might not. A lot of that depends on how busy it gets at work. If it’s like the last few Fridays, I may get it done. I might even get the Teaser Act of the second episode completed too. Doubt that I will get Act One done also. But you never know with me. I might get it done too.
