A Mini Pool of Joy

A mini pool, that treats me well
in summer's blazing sun
gives wondrous joy. I live to tell,
that life is truly fun!

My lips and throat are like the dry
and brittle desert floor,
until my mini pool comes nigh
to fill me up some more.

The plants of green and colors bright
start wearing khaki pants,
my mini pool soothes roots just right
to change to "cans" their "can'ts."

The furry babies splay to sleep
with pants worn on the tongue.
My mini pool their bodies keep,
and new hope soon is sung.

Refreshing coldness, slating plunge
are found by diving in.
The needs of the core do all expunge,
when tongue his hope doth win.

I toss the pool on parched pores.
They thank me soaked anon.
The mini pool my hair adores.
Their feelings are as one.

My mini pool has learned to tap,
and dance with skill, it does
upon my hair and face and lap.
Relief from heat the cause.

This mini pool in all its bliss
has just one tiny flaw.
Its size is really just a kiss
compared with the need so raw.
