That event, which occurred 175 was the beginning of the Baha'i Faith. The Bab, who was the forerunner of Baha'u'llah, declared his mission with the above . October 29 is the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Bab, which is the first day of the twin holy days celebrated by the Baha'is across the planet. October 30, the second day of the twin holy days, is the celebration of the Birth of Baha'u'llah. The beginning of the Baha'i faith occurred on the night of the Declaration of the Bab. and it is from this moment that part of the inspiration for everything the Baha'is do come.
