PROMPT: They say art is subjective. What is art to you?

Question About Art:
Is Art Subjective

This is a question I've never contemplated. Most of the time, I can tell what it is that I like about a piece of art. I suppose that can be considered subjective. Sometime I will see a piece of art I like, but I don't knew what I like about it; however, this is rare. I've seen some pieces of art that I didn't care for, but this is rare. I don't ever remember seeing a piece of art that hated.

Is that half moon shaped object
on the top of building D
at the West Charleston Campus
of the Community College of Southern Nevada
an owl's aviary,
the Cheshire Cat's smile,
an avant-garde watermelon slice,
a radio telescope,
or a cradle
for the accumulated knowledge of humanity?
