A Whole Lot of Writing Going on With My Movie Treatment Yesterday was a very good day for my Water Wars movie Treatment. Not only did I finish Act two, but I got the first five scene paragraphs done too. What does that mean when it comes to my writing? It means that I did twenty scene paragraphs and five Establishing Shots for a total of twenty-five paragraphs. That may not read like a lot of writing to you. But it does to me. Especially, since I’m handwriting this project now. A lot of that writing is because of two things: work and flow. It was a typical Saturday. Which means there wasn’t much at work for me to do. In fact, it was a little bit less work than usual. That means I had plenty of time to write yesterday. As for the flow, once I started writing I couldn’t stop myself. The only thing that did was work. And that didn’t happen too often. When I first started doing my writing yesterday, I was worried that I may not even finish Act Two. That would have been fifteen scene paragraphs. Why did I think that? It’s because I got a late start in starting my writing. But it wasn’t that long of a wait, though. About a half hour at the most. It also started off slow too. But once I got past that first scene paragraph my fingers took over and there was no stopping them except for work. Today is Sunday. Usually, it’s kind of slow on Sunday too. It’s typically a little bit busier than Saturday. But not by too much. If it’s anything like yesterday I should be able to do twenty to twenty-five paragraphs today. I don’t know if I will be able to do that many or not. But I’m going to try. I think that I can do at least that many. Only time will tell if I do or if I don’t. By the time I write my next Blog entry, I should have the answer to that question.
