The Color Blue
April 10, 2019
In live in Utah where anything goes with the weather. Today it is snowing. Monday I was working out in my yard. So, my point
is that I am trying to keep spring in front of me and I do so by painting (my iris below). Along with my iris and want to share my
poem of My Color Blue:
My Color Blue
Bright, brilliant, royal and majestic
Paints, diamonds, jeans and the ocean
Skies, flowers, eggs in a robin's nest
Velvet sewed into a blue vest.
Bearded irises of blue dancing in the wind
Breath taking blue eyes passes you by
Paul Bunyan and his Babe the Blue Ox
Sapphires, one of many dazzling rocks.
Berries so blue they stain your teeth
Soft blue pastels for the wall in your den
Nude girl tattoo on a sailor's body
Some might consider it quite naughty.
Various hues, solids and translucent
Mood makers, mood breakers and
those wonderful blues songwriters
Even those poetic, aerobatic, Blue Angels jet fighters.
Seabreeze 5.9.15
I hope spring is happening for you wherever you are!
