On Sunday morning
my coffeemaker went out
boiling coffee on the stove.

Gratitude List for 11 Bahá

Today I am thankful ...
          ...that my Bank of America checking account is not overdrawn today.
          ...for the ability to boil coffee on top of the stove, because the coffee maker went out.
          ...that I have $50.64 in my Vindale research account.
          ...that I could request a $50.00 payment from Vindale research. It will be processed on April 12.
          ...that I have 644 points in my Survey Junkie account.

Noonday Prayer1

I perform my ablutions,
I turn my face toward Bahji,
and recite the short obligatory prayer.

Stress melts,
dissolving like a iceberg
in the warm Pacific waters.
