I like to paint and usually work in watercolors. Today I thought I would try a picture of my friend's wiener dog, Sugar, in oil. The pic over all isn't bad but I still need to get the color more to a light chocolate brown.
Oil is not a favorite since you do need a cleaner for your brushes and then you have to have some way to dispose of the residue, bummer!
The other downfall is drying time Given the weather has been in the high 30s, and it snowed and rained, it will be awhile for it dries. However, not to disappointed with this first try. This also makes me appreciate working in watercolors, ha, ha!
