Not as Hard as I Thought for What Happened?

Only a few hours ago I posted my latest Blog entry. In it, I wrote that I was going to work on my WDC Short Story all night if I needed to do it. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I thought that cutting about three hundred words out of my story was going to be hard to do. It was a little hard in a couple of sections. But overall it wasn’t too hard at all.

I created it and entered WDC contest for this month about an hour ago. I don’t like to cut it this close for my contest entries. But sometimes it can’t be helped. This is one of those times. I would prefer to do it toward the beginning to the middle of the month. That way I can plug it and get some reviews from it. That didn’t work out this month either.

It’s done. And that’s all that matter. I know I’m not going to ever win any of these contests. But that’s not why I enter them. I do it because I like a challenge. To see if I can remember a storyline for my Science Fiction entries or I can come up an original one that isn’t Science Fiction related. This month is one of those entries.

So, what am I going to do today at work and the rest of the week? What do you think that I’m going to do? If you said that I was continuing with my Water Wars scriptwriting project, then you would have been right. At least it will be for my Outlines and Treatments. I don’t know how much of my Treatments I will get done. But I should get them started this weekend.

I’m not sure if I’m going to do all three Outlines first or if I will do them one at a time before I start working on their Treatments. I will probably do all the Outlines first because the Treatments are so complicated and time-consuming. But I still haven’t decided about that. I will need to do that in the next day or two, though.

I shouldn’t take me more than a couple of days at the most to do the movie Outline. I have until then to decide if I want to do the episode Outlines first or the movie Treatment. Of course, how long it takes will depend on how busy work is too. If it’s like it has been for the last few weeks, I might not get it done until Friday. I should. But I might not.
