1 Azamat 13, 149 B.E. One hundred years ago today, The Ancient Beauty ascended into the Abha Kingdom. 2 Invocation To Baha'u'llah O Glory of God! I feel the Holy Spirit's power flowing through your words. Awestruck my soul falls prostrate to the ground begging your forgiveness. O Lord of Host! When I read your verses I hear trumpets echoing taps and reveille, I see the old heaven and earth rolled up and the new spread out in its stead. 3 Pen of Glory Oh Pen of Glory! I felt the Holy Spirit flowing through your words. Awe-struck my soul fell to the ground begging Your forgiveness. Oh Pen of Glory! In your words I heard trumpet echoing taps and reveille. I saw a new heaven and earth roll out, with a new humanity. 4 I Hear Church Bells I hear church bells in the distance proclaiming the Day of God, and resurrecting from night's sepulcher all with ears to hear. I hear church bells ringing announcing the Prince of Peace, and joyfully calling the children of a new heaven and earth. 5 Baha'u'llah He is the Living Temple! The manifestation of divine attributes. He is the beauty of the All-Glorious Lord: The Glory of God. 6 God's Manifestation Again God's beauty has appeared, in the form of the perfect man, bringing with Him the word of God. He wrote scriptures of eternal splendor, that go beyond race or creed, to speak directly to our souls. The Glory of God revealed, new laws for modern men, and ancient scriptures helped us understand. 7 Day Star The splendor of Earth's day star pales before the Glory of my Beloved. Its coronal beauty blushes when confronted by His grandeur. 8 The Center Without a center-- the focal point of desire-- love's orbit disintegrates. 9 The Living Temple No temple build by human hands can unite humanity: only the Glory of God, Poet's Note: ▼ |
