Fire Meditation

Most Ancient! Most Great!
From the silence of nonexistence,
You called humanity to life.

Beloved of the universe!
In the darkness of our separation,
We look for light of Your love.

Desire of the cosmos!
In the night of our desolation,
We seek the comfort of Your presence.

Enchanter of the macrocosm!
In the ocean of Your boundless love,
We dive for the pearls of Your wisdom.

Answer of our prayers!
We perceive the clouds of Your mercy,
Gathering above our heads.

Conqueror of the microcosm!
With the power of the Holy Spirit,
You have conquered the cities of our hearts.

Chastiser of the microcosm!
On the foundation of justice,
Your are constructing a New Heaven and Earth.

Fire of the macrocosm!
With the warmth of Your love,
You are forging a united human race.

Salvation of the humanity!
You have entered our fear encased hearts,
And set them ablaze with your love.

Radiance of the cosmos!
With the splendor of Your dawning light,
You have set our souls and the world on fire.

Destroyer of the universe!
With the sword of Your mighty vengeance,
You have severed the cords of malice.

Glory of the macrocosm!
Through the mirrors of Your attributes,
You have revealed the sacred scriptures.

Delight of the microcosm!
In the silence of our separation,
We listen to the voice of Your pen.

Joy of the humanity!
The Manifestation of Your love,
Has set our hearts ablaze.

Power of the universe!
In the darkness of our desolation,
You lead u s with the pillar of Your fire.

Mercy of the cosmos!
The power of Your Holy Scriptures
In spires us to teach Your cause.

Lord of the macrocosm!
Within the essence of detachment,
Is the power to overcome self.

Sovereign of the microcosm!
Beneath the shadow of Your justice,
We cower because of our sins.

Trust of humanity!
From the silence of our separation,
You have raised us to eternal life.

Life of the universe!
With the power of Your pen of glory,
You have renewed religion.

Light of the cosmos!
Out of the heaven of detachment,
Descends the meteor of Your love.

Desire of humanity!
The evil whisperer is silenced,
By the word of Your Chosen One.

Nightingale of the macrocosm!
We hear the voice of Your Promised One,
Descending from paradise.

Assurance of the microcosm!
From the exponent of certitude,
We receive the message of faith.

Savior of the universe!
Secure in the Ark of Your Salvation,
We sail on storm tossed seas.

Light-giver of the planets!
The lamp of certitude is kindled,
By the embodiment of detachment.

Mover of the cosmos!
The fire of Your wrath engulfs the world:
Where are the rays of Your mercy?

Beloved of the universe!
What befell Your Manifestation,
When He traversed the physical realm?

Champion of humanity!
You dominion is the human hear,
Your mirror is the stainless soul.

Mercy of the macrocosm!
Your justice has brought humanity to its knees,
Your compassion has raised it again.

Adorner of the microcosm!
Humanity was dress in the garnets of hate,
You have given us unity's robe.

Desire of the universe!
From the ocean of Your loving-kindness,
Come the waves of bounty and grace.

Unlocker of the cosmos!
In the heart of Your true believer,
The keys of unity are found.

Giver of the macrocosm!
Against the Tree of Your Covenant,
The winds of sedition are powerless.

Forgiver of humanity!
Cleanse our souls of their enveloping sins,
With the fire of Your love.

Bestower of the microcosm!
From the clouds of Your merciful grace,
Descend the showers of bounty.

Wronged One of the world!
From the garden of Ridvan,
The Tongue of Your Grandeur has spoken.

Expounder of the universe!
Because of the coldness of our silence,
We comprehend the fire of Your words.

Light of the cosmos!
Because of calamity's darkness,
The orb of Your patience shines.

Patience of the macrocosm!
Against the Armada of Heaven,
The armies of Satan cannot endure.

Love of the universe!
Above the horizon of Your Covenant,
The sun of unity dawns.

Rapture of the cosmos!
We perceive the banner of independence,
Waving over Your eternal faith.

Exile of the macrocosm!
Your banishment and aloneness,
Assures humanity's unity.

Pride of the microcosm!
In Your affliction and abasement,
You have taught humanity the meaning of glory.

Concealer of humanity's sins!
You view us with sin covering eyes,
You see our divine attributes.

Sacrifice of the universe!
Into the mist of battle You march,
Know that victory is assured.

You Who has cause the weeping of the cosmos!
You require obedience for us,
We seek comfort and ease.

Ordainer of the macrocosm!
Without the fire of tribulation,
How would Your faithful servants be found?

Adored of the microcosm!
What befell Your Manifestation,
On the Path of Faith?

You Who have set the universe on fire!
Through the power of love You kindled,
The flame of humanity's faith.
