Poetry Wrote Over Several Years on Spiritual, Religious, and Devotional Subjects. |
Chains of Matter The chains of matter, are the chains that bind, soul to material plain freedom is the splendor of God's undying flame. The Glory of God, was bound by chains, within the Siyeh-Chal, He endured the weight of Qara-Guhar, to free us from th is eartly thrall. Cataracts of ego, cover our inner eyes, hiding from their vision the Beauty of God which is nigh. Blind to the Grandeur, of God's new day, we huddle inside the prison of self and to our own idols pray. As through a glass darkly, we detect the rays of God's light, penetrating the darkness of our self-made night. Reverberating through our minds, echoes of our sins, deafen spiritual ears to the voice of God's Mercy within. Then like a distant thunder, we hear the shill voice of God's pen, writing on tablets of chrysolite the Words and the deeds of men. And knowing we're not perfect, but that Perfection is the goal, our limbs begin to quake and fear overshadows our soul. With our religion set, in the cement of dogma, we hold to one of God's Names believing the gate to salvation closed by God's manifestation. Religion was renewed, through the Might of God, when out o f the darkness of Persia ]ste[[ed Baha'u'llah and The Bab. Poet's Note: ▼ |
