Consultation:
Poem One

Consultation is a light!
Is it more than a clash of ideas?
A means of discovering what is right.
Light of God's new age.

Consultation guides the way to truth!
Guides the path through the clash of wills.
The torch that illumines the night of fear; the
Way to solve the planet's ills.
To God's followers it is a light.
Truth emerges from the clash of wills.

Consultation is the source of good and well being!
Is it a buffer in the clash of force?
The means of aiding decision making.
Source of an endless stream
Of knowledge, truth, and understanding.
Good is achieved through open minds;
And acceptance of the group's decision.
Well is it with those who obey God's command.
Being mad in unity, the decision results in good.

Consultation is a spiritual conference in an atmosphere of love.
Is there any better place to make decisions?
A safe haven for open and frank discussions.
Spiritual results emerge from unity.
Conference table of the Blessed Beauty.
In the clash of ideas, of wills, of force truth emerges.
An answer to each question is found in an
Atmosphere conducive to inquiry. Discussion
Of subjects important to those present.
Love is the key to consultation.

Poem Two

In endless light word collide,
while concepts merge, mate,
and are reborn in other forms.

I wrote poem one in 149 B.E. This poem was inspired by a deepening on Consultations, which is the ways Baha'i Spiritual Assemblies make their decisions. Poem two was written in 150 B.E.
